Location and directions:
5 kilometers northwest of Steinkjer city center at Søndre Egge. Follow Bogavegen west from the second roundabout after the bridge over the river on the E6 through Steinkjer.
Paradisbukta is a beach and recreational area near the city with extensive facilities. Here you will find barbecue areas, seating areas, toilets, showers, changing facilities and parking. The beach consists of shallow sand with associated grassy slopes, rocky rocks, and several small coves and bays.

Rinnleiret Beach

Location:
The beach is located approximately 4 km north of Levanger, right on the border between Verdal and Levanger, with easy access from the E6.
Rinnliret is a protected area with a large, several kilometer long sandy beach. The beach is shallow and ideal for families with children, with safe surroundings for playing in the water and sand. The area is well-equipped with toilets and parking facilities.

The beach is located just south of the center of Straumen, near Strømnes. A walking and cycling path runs from Straumen and around the entire Sundssand. To get there, drive over the Straumbrua bridge and take the second road to the right, Sundssandvegen.
Facilities:
Sundssand is a beautiful, long, shallow beach with fine-grained sand, surrounded by lawn areas. In the outdoor recreation area you will find a kiosk, sanitary facilities adapted for the disabled, a playground, barbecue areas, hiking trails and three sand volleyball courts.

The beach is located right next to Trønderhallen and Kjærlighetsstien, which is a 1.4 km long path.
Facilities:
Own barbecue area with benches, tables and grills that are also adapted for wheelchair users. The beach has a great view of Ytterøy and Inderøy and is well suited for play and fun. The area is sunny and sheltered. Right next to Trønderhallen, where there is a swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, climbing walls and a cafe.

Location: Around 15km South of Snåsa town centre, by Lake Snåsavannet.
The beach is shallow and very suitable for children. There is a large parking lot with a small house with a toilet. A short and nice path leads to the beach, and the path is wheelchair accessible. In the forest behind the beach there are facilities for barbecues, with benches and a brick fireplace.

Bystranda is located in the center of Steinkjer on the North side. Follow the E6 over the bridge and you will see it on the right (when coming from the south). You can park at the Esso gas station.
